A wooden box with ten compartments numbered 0 to 9 with 45 wooden spindles. Child has to put the corresponding number of spindles with respect to the number printed on top of the compartment.
If he ends up with spindles in his hand, then that means he has dropped few less spindles in any of the compartment(s).
Children can check back and learn numbers on their own.
Likewise, child can learn numbers from 0 through 9.
